Our team, now retired from law enforcement, is composed of two of the original five members of the Operation Stonecold Taskforce, which was formed in 2002. To date, this Florida-based Taskforce has arrested over 100 individuals for racketeering and money laundering. It has seized over $50 million in adulterated and/or counterfeit drugs and over $10 million in assets.

We offer a unique blend of talent and expertise that includes over 65 years of law enforcement experience.  We are proud that our investigators were called upon to testify before the United States Congress which ultimately had a dramatic effect upon the way the State of Florida and other states do business regarding wholesale distribution of pharmaceuticals.

Our efforts led to the passage of Florida’s 2003 Prescription Drug Protection Act. The act imposes new restrictions on drug wholesalers, requires background checks for those seeking licenses, and creates tougher criminal penalties for trafficking in adulterated medicine. Florida's drug distribution laws are now used by other states as national standards.

Members of our team were used as experts by prosecutors in State and Federal courts.  They assisted the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Unit, the FBI, and the Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General in conducting numerous investigations that resulted in convictions of pharmacy owners for Medicaid and Medicare Fraud.

Members of the Operation Stonecold Taskforce were twice recipients of the Davis Productivity Award, which is the highest award bestowed by the State of Florida.  The award is presented annually to the individual or group who reached accomplishments above and beyond their assigned duties resulting in the greatest savings to the people of the State of Florida.

The work of the Operation Stonecold Taskforce is documented in the book, “Dangerous Doses” by Katherine Eban. An overview of the book is presented in an article entitled, "Bad Medicine", found in the May 2005 issue of Vanity Fair magazine.  The efforts of the taskforce were featured on the CBS show 60 Minutes, and on Dateline NBC. Stonecold Investigations is a member of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI).
